Prices are per day, all in. Multi-day & weekly? Cheaper — just ask. Delivery, setup & pickup is a flat fee based on where you are and how fast you need it, quoted upfront — because surprise fees are for cowards.

The fleet's growing 🌱 more brats incoming. Need something bigger, or a backup? just ask — we don't bite.

⚠️ One house rule: generators live outside, away from windows & doors. The CO sensor's a backup, not a permission slip.

why people rent

Same machines, a hundred reasons. Here's where ours show up most.

power outages & psps

Keep the fridge, WiFi, and your essentials alive when PG&E pulls the plug. Book before the wind event — everyone panics at once.

weddings & events

Backyard, beach, or barn — speakers, lights, open bar, zero flicker. Cry at the vows, not the breaker.

camping & vanlife

Off-grid but make it comfy. Fridge cold, devices charged, zero campsite drama.

job sites

Saws, compressors, chargers — running all day where the nearest outlet is a fantasy.

food trucks & pop-ups

Griddles, fryers, fridges — fed. Slay the farmers market, then the festival.

home projects

Renos, garages, and backyard builds that laugh at your wall socket.

how it works

Three steps. No counter, no clipboard, no "let me check with my manager."

family-run from the first watt

meet adam & kale

It started with a DJ and a power problem. Adam needed generators for his shows — so he got them. Between gigs they just sat in the garage, and that felt like a waste of perfectly good power.

So he started renting them out. The idea was simple: let other people power their own experiences — a backyard wedding, a job site, a camping trip, a block party, an outage, or a full-on music set like the one that started all this.

Kale, Adam's wife, has always had a thing for generators (yes, really) and wanted in from day one — which makes this a family business from the very first watt. We live right here in Santa Cruz, we love this town, and we want to keep our community powered up, one rental at a time.

P.S. there's a cat named Alby. He supervises every rental and approves of roughly none of them. 🐈‍⬛

faq

The stuff people ask before they hit send. No fluff.

how much does it cost to rent a generator in santa cruz?
No games: the RYOBI 2,300W is $80/day, the Generac 8,125W dual-fuel is $125/day. Multi-day and weekly rates get cheaper — just ask. Delivery, setup and pickup is a flat fee based on your location and timing, always quoted upfront. Surprise fees aren't our thing.
do you rent by the hour?
No — we only do daily, 24-hour rentals. One day means a full 24-hour block, so you've got time to actually use it.
what can the ryobi 2,300w generator power?
The RYOBI 2,300W (1,800W continuous) runs a mini fridge, phones and laptops, lights, a CPAP, a coffee maker, WiFi, a TV and small power tools. It's Bluetooth-controlled from your phone, super quiet at 57 dBA with CO shutoff, and perfect for camping, tailgates, small events, and keeping essentials on during an outage.
what can the generac 8,125w generator run?
The Generac 8,125W (6,500W continuous) handles whole-home essentials — fridge and freezer, well or sump pumps, furnace blower, window AC, microwave, larger power tools, a food truck setup, or a full event stage and lighting rig. It's dual fuel (gas or propane), electric-start, and has a 120/240V outlet that pairs with a transfer switch.
do you deliver?
Yes — we deliver, set up, and grab it back across Santa Cruz, Capitola, Aptos, Soquel, Scotts Valley, Watsonville, Felton and nearby. Same-day is often doable.
can i rent for a psps or power outage?
That's literally the whole point of us. During PG&E Public Safety Power Shutoffs and storm outages we help keep your fridge, internet and lights running. Running medical equipment? Tell us and we'll help you size it right. Book ahead of forecast wind events — units go fast when the whole county panics at once.
which generator do i need?
Add up the watts of everything running at once. Under ~1,800W continuous? The little brat (RYOBI 2,300W) is plenty. Powering a home, a job site, or a big event? Bring in the big brat (Generac 8,125W). Lost? Tell us your gear and we'll size it for you.
